A Eulogy to My Grand Mother

Eulogy to my Grand-Mother
Dear Grand-Mother,

It's been almost nine and a half years since you have passed away,

I was very young that time. However, I distinctly remember your wide and beautiful smile,

Like the golden sunshine that enlightened our world with joy and happiness and made all our worries fade away.

You enjoyed talking - talking A LOT ; a beautiful red rose without any thorns.

You single-handedly raised your children and served as their ultimate pillar of strength.

My father always remembers you as being a compassionate individual, who never failed to fill his life with unconditional love and imbibed him with moral instinctive values that never surpassed any timely constraint.

He says that you were a woman of a soft temperament, who strengthened  ties within the family and knitted them close together.

Even though, you indulged in moments of profound sadness, you never showed any bit of apprehension .
You ultimately complied with all their needs without a strain of tension on your face.

I honestly wish that I had the opportunity to spend some more time with you and inherit some remarkable qualities from you.

The strength, passion, willingness and determination - you showed is what inspires me to aim for success and happiness in life.

I would feel absolutely lucky if I even manage to become half the person that you are.

Thank you for being there always.

Moments fade away but rigid memories stay forever.
